This was our second climbing trip in Colorado and it’s always amusing to me that we are able to get to the approach right off the highway…at least when we climb near Clear Creek Canyon that is. Saw a huge snake on the side of the road (that was dead, didn’t know that at first) and the approach was a little steep but we got to the wall in less than 5 mins. Climbed for about an hour and a half and the walls felt good even in the slightly warmer temps.
Also managed to do Yoga at the Park at Red Rocks (through Core Power) which was early at 8am which was perfect because it was still cooler and the views were amazing. I’d definitely take up the chance to do yoga at Red Rocks all the time if I lived in Colorado.
Overall, it was a fun trip with some good friends.
